Syllabus for Common Admission Test CAT 2017

Common Admission Test prominently known as CAT is all-India national level PC based test directed by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission to administration programs in IIMs and other presumed organizations of the nation. What is the Syllabus for CAT 2017?

CAT Data Interpretation:Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), venn diagram, etc.

CAT Logical Reasoning:Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence, assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc.

Examination Pattern for CAT 2017

CAT 2017 will be conducted in two sessions on one day. The exam will be held on 26th November 2017 (Sunday)

 

Common Admission Test is a 3 hour duration exam; it will have questions in there sections namely (1) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (2) Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (3) Quantitative Ability

 

Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test

 

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions and TITA (type in the answer) type questions

 

Duration of Exam: 3 hours

 

Note: While in one section, you must attempt questions of only that section
